Chilbrook Crest

The heritage of the Chilbrook Labradors is rich in beauty, brains and ability. We present on this page as a photographic tribute some of the more notable dogs from the past in our bloodline that you will find behind many of the pedigrees today.

American, Canadian Champion Chilbrook Solitaire CD CGC TDI (Jetta). A group and specialty winner, high in trial winner and dog world award winner, Jetta was the dam of 6 Champions, grand dam to over 25 champions and Grand Master Hunting Retrievers, obedience titled get and graduated guides for the blind and service assistance dogs; including the first chocolate bitch to win BOS at the National Specialty. She was also a certified cadaver detection dog and had many criminal arrests/finds to her credit. Jetta was a large 82-pound force to be reasoned with on upland game with exceptional marking ability and drive. A repeat breeding of Jetta’s sire and dam produced CH Belquest To The Point, a multiple group winner.

Jetta

FCI Multi Champion, 97 Reserve World Champion, American Champion Chilbrook Fedora RN, CGC (Dory). Dory is a multiple group winner and earned over 10 champion and grand champion titles internationally during her show career. She loves competition and after winning her Veterans Class at the LRCP specialty and enjoying the activities at the show, I brought Dory out of retirement at 12 and half years to compete in Rally Obedience. In 3 consecutive shows she earned her title, the oldest dog in the AKC to do so. She is medium-sized, 70 pounds of intense competitiveness, biddable and the perfect ambassador during her travels overseas.

Dory

Chilbrook Bon Bon (Candy). Candy started her show career by sweeping the country from coast to coast winning specialty sweepstakes and accumulated 14 points and a 5 point major before her second birthday. She is the dam of two champions. Candy won the prestigious Brood Bitch award from the Labrador Retriever Club of the Piedmont awarded by breeder judge Mary Wiest (Beechcroft).

Candy

Chilbrook Limerick, CD, CGC, TDI (Erin). Erin was an exceptionally intelligent dog and continually amazed me at her second-degree problem-solving ability. She was a natural with birds, in the water, and had incomparable marking ability. Erin was trained as a service assistance dog and she produced over a dozen graduated service dogs in her lifetime as well as Chilbrook Silver Jubilee, who carries her traits on in our breeding program and appears behind many of the Chilbrook dogs today.
